I'm painting small still life as frequently as possible for awhile. They are relatively quick to do...2 to 4 hours at the most and it's excellent practice. This one was painted this morning and early afternoon. I'm following the Qiang Huang process as much as I can.

Once again you amaze me with your still life work. Very-very nice.
ReplyDeleteRuth...you are always supportive, and I thank you for it. I am really enjoying doing these still life paintings. So much fun....I need to get some more props though...all I can seem to come up with involves alcohol of some sort!
ReplyDeleteIf this is from more stuff around the studio, then I'm wondering if the shot glass in front of the Johnny Walker was empty when the painting started.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting on your last day with Qiang too
Neil
Hi Neil..the shot glass was empty from beginning to end. However, I've had many paintings when that shot glass - full - would have been very welcome. It might have improved things! Thanks for the kind comments.
